I have been teaching Level 3 Music and Music Technology since 2008 following the completion of a Music Technology Degree and a short time working as a product consultant and installation engineer for Bang & Olufsen. In addition to teaching I have worked as a freelance music composer, sound designer, recording engineer and live sound engineer as well as being a fully qualified Pro Tools Operator. I became interested in music at an early age, developing my skills primarily on the piano and guitar, however I try to turn my hand to as many other instruments as possible such as drums, percussion and vocals. My style of composition changes depending on the task ahead and I have written music and designed sound in popular, acoustic, electronic and orchestral genres for previous projects. I have also built several cigar box guitars which have been used in my recordings. I have enjoyed collaborations with Inglenook Productions working on an award winning promotional short film Roses in Winter and a full-length feature film Self Same Sky produced by The Co-operative British Youth Film Academy in association with Inglenook Productions. I have written music for Holden’s, a successful creative marketing agency which were used in their own promotional video show reels. I have a passion for creating and producing raw and emotional music that sets me apart from my competition.
